introduction

I am Tim Wilson, a landscape architect with over twenty years experience designing and managing a wide range of projects, from the scale of a school playground up to a network of city parks and public spaces. Regardless of type or scale, I most enjoy seeing projects through to constuction and watching them become a part of everyday life.

I believe landscape architects can help find solutions to the most urgent problems the world faces, such as climate change, bio-diversity collapse and rising social inequality. Our professions unique super-power is that we are generalists. We are skilled at understanding, and working with, all the complex processes at play in a space, and bringing together the expertise required to design highly multi-functional landscapes.

Every project can help in the transition to a more beautiful, resilient, diverse and fairer future, and this motivates both my personal and professional life. To more effectively put this into practice, the time has come to start my own practice, and begin a new adventure and see where it goes!
